Commies may not stop trying to put The Message into things people see, but the above works not only by punishing devs/publishers for complying, but also because it causes anything with The Message not to be seen by anyone. They want to make it inescapable, and that commercial avoidance strategy is ruining decades of their investment towards that.

The older games still exist. I don't necessarily play games according to the way the devs intended, but this sounds like the crap is unavoidable.

I've bought every civ game up to 6.
I won't be buying this one.
