To my dismay, an old buddy of mine volunteered to help me with a plumbing project. Unfortunately, we ran into countless problems with these old pipes which would mean I'd be spending a lot of time with him. He arrives looking exactly like the liberal getting burglarized in that comic meme: Beard. Bald. Thick-rimmed glasses. Fat. Neon-colored gym shoes. Autist.

As we begin to dismantle the plumbing: "So, are you still a libertarian?" I asked. He promptly informed me that he is more liberal than anything.

"Oh, ok. I figured you were always a libertarian. How do you feel about DOGE? I'm very excited about it." He went on a tangent saying that the entire DOGE situation is illegal and a massive security threat. I stopped him - explaining that I'm excited for DOGE and I guess we'll both need to wait and see what happens.

He then began to give me the Orange Man Bad rhetoric - completely ad hominem to Trump as a character with no regard for any of his works. Knowing I had several more hours to spend with the guy, I told him that I find no joy in letting political ideologies stir things up between us.

You get to know a lot about a man by working with him. The first day was 12 hours. The next: 15 hours. There was no going back as the entire kitchen plumbing system was inoperable. During this time, I learned I was in the company of a man with absolutely no sense of faith. Not in himself. Not in the future. And certainly not in any sort of god. He was a complete materialist. In his company, I felt like all of my spiritual grasp of the world was irrelevant. I had to stop him from his nonsensical rhetoric repeatedly to ensure that he would finish the job and get the fuck out of my house.

The following Monday, I was completely fried. All sense of spirituality and faith had been depleted by this fucking liberal black-pilled vampire. He then began texting me some very insulting long texts - much like a woman would send a long text full of things she was too afraid to say in person. I told him his messages were insulting and left it at that. I've always been an adventurer and never lost faith or passion. I've been through the wringer and at rock bottom - and that is what helps me to understand joy and faith. And to be stuck on a job with someone that is the polar opposite of that was one of the most soul-sucking experiences of my life. This is the sort of liberal faggot who never suffered a day in his life and it shows.

You get what you pay for. Those faggots on Reddit are real.
