My dad grew up so poor for the longest time when I was growing up if we went and got burgers he would refuse the cheese to save a quarter then when we got home he would put on a slice from the fridge. Which is funny if you knew how much he made. He was hurtin. I guess those childhood things don’t leave you. Growing up he always got turkey and ham. I was like can we get some roast beef he always said we can’t afford it. So when I hit adult hood and finally went and got roast beef I was like wtf dad it’s not that much.
