Woke up to the sound of rain pattering this morning

Haven't had proper rain for weeks and weeks and it's very welcome. Still kinda humid but cooling, a blessed relief from the unrelenting heat we've had. It is dark and gloomy so I won't get burnt today.

Enjoying a cup of coffee and doing nothing much today. Life seems good. That's all.

I feel the same way at the end of summer. When the heat and sun doesn’t go away, it sometimes feels like the equivalent of being in the dead of winter. No relief except for being in the house, left to rot in fake air! The older I get, I tend to prefer temperate and cooler conditions. Best to you, Dulcima!

Norris managed to keep going.
Piastri got bogged and had to slowly back out, finished 9th. not happy.
