It must suck to be a millennial

submitted by 2Drunk to whatever 1 monthMar 24, 2025 22:15:04 ago (+19/-4)     (whatever)

I worked 9 hours, drove home and something felt off. Get home and immediately took a big shit, then noticed my portable air compressor was not working. So I drove to the closest gas station and it was out of order and must have been for quite some time. Someone wrote "do not redeem" on the out of order sign.

So I go to the next closest one, jack up my car, and removed the tire. Yep right there was a big ass nail. Pull that shit right out and plugged the tire right there. Came back and my ice in my drink wasn't completely melted.

TLDR: Took a big shit and patch my tire in under 1 hour.

Not gonna lie: I wouldn't patch my own tire. And my bowel movements are minuscule thanks to a diet rich in only meet.

Thanks for sharing. I think.

Man cannot live on social activities alone.

When you meet people (I assume) do they feed you?

I have another vehicle I did a patch job on but I used rubber cement with the plug and have been driving on it for over 3 years. I was being irresponsible and hit 150 a few months ago... I'm not a very smart man.

What are you driving that has tires that last for three years?

[ - ] 2Drunk [op] 0 points 1 monthMar 27, 2025 00:15:35 ago (+0/-0)

I don't drive that modified TT car often because I'm not responsible enough. My gay hybrid has over 3 years and 35,000 miles on the current tires and have patched two of them so far (nails - fuck the spics). What are you doing that your tires can't last 3 years? Don't buy tires from the dealer and it's best to research what works good for your vehicle. I buy tires online and have them shipped to the install location of my choice.

Well, it takes me less than a year to drive 35k miles...so there's that. Your statements make much more sense. A set of good tires should last 50k miles under most conditions for sure.

150? In what?

[ - ] 2Drunk [op] 0 points 1 monthMar 27, 2025 00:36:09 ago (+0/-0)

Its a older modified twin turbo with most upgrades without getting into the internals is all I'm going to say. Turbos, injectors, ECU, exhaust, intake, etc...

Sadly the car never gets out much because I don't trust myself.

Sadly I tried to push it a month or so ago and while it want happy until 120 getting to 140 came was longer than expected. Hit !50 but it ended as I was on and was not seeing the increases I was previously seeing and the highway ended.

I raced a young woman in a Maserati on my '83 GPz 750 on the coast freeway in California.

At 130 the bike had a little left but I was done.

The chick in the Maserati laughed, waved, shifted gears and pulled away!

My kind of girl.

Is meet the new dating app? Asking for a friend.

Boomers want a pat on the back for doing the simplest things. Rather pathetic.

"Someone wrote "do not redeem" on the out of order sign."

Evocative story element.

I was gonna stop reading and downvote him, but then I got to that part. Now I'm just downvoting.

This one time, I patched a flat front tire, on the side of a narrow hillside road, in a light rain, without taking the wheel off, in under 30min, including air up time. I didn't have to take a shit at the time though.

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO WHAT YOU'VE DONE!

I've had to put air in a millennial's tire twice in the last week who is also a convicted pedophile.

[ - ] Cantaloupe 1 point 1 monthMar 25, 2025 00:11:26 ago (+1/-0)

Nice

Although one could conflate the two activities and wonder how many the tire was plugged with shit

[ - ] PoundOfFlesh 1 point 1 monthMar 24, 2025 22:37:20 ago (+2/-1)

Do not redeem

I wonder if that was written by a pajeet or by a fellow goat.

The addition of "Saar" is the telltale sign of a goat.

Millennials worked at Pep Boys and Jiffy Lube too. Cool story retard.

I’m a millennial, but was raised in the county. Fuck you faggot

[ - ] Anotherone 0 points 1 monthMar 25, 2025 08:00:04 ago (+0/-0)

Difference here is not that others can't do what you managed it is that they don't really have to. For instance.

I have a spare tire in my vehicle, under the bed of the truck. With what I do for a career I even have a battery operated air compressor and pneumatic jack I would use.

Being that I also have a 1/2in impact and torque wrench, I would take that tire to somewhere like discount tire and get a warranty on that patch job.

Wouldn't even take half the time it did for you.

What has that story got to do with millennials?

[ - ] mahavishnunj 2 points 1 monthMar 25, 2025 09:41:33 ago (+2/-0)

Check it out everyone, sal180 can't understand simple things again.

I figure he was talking about knowing how to do irl things with success.

[ - ] Sal_180 0 points 1 monthMar 25, 2025 08:45:38 ago (+0/-0)

Does he think a 30-40 year old man can't put a spare on? Strange
