drying and powdering is my new bag. you can add dried garlic and spices just like you would if you were making a sauce, but its in dry form so you can leave it out on the table next to the salt and pepper

I almost killed myself grinding dried hot peppers. I coughed for 2 days. I chop my peppers first either by hand or in a ninja, spread onto parchment paper and roast them in the oven on the lowest temp. Or a dehydrator. Saves me from death by pepper asphixiation.

That's exactly what it feels like. I sometimes joke that hot sauce is as addictive as any other drug, and I'm never really sure how much of a joke it is.

Agree. I have a massive thing for melindas habanero. 40 years of hot sauce use and this has become my favorite.

You do enough of it at one time above your "limit", it releases endorphins, which is brain heroin. Not even remotely as addictive as heroin, but good enough for me!

It is addictive. But it's also healthy, so who cares? Eating peppers raw I mean. Not sure about sauce. Depends on what's in it other than peppers.
