12ga. slug at that distance will do the exact same thing, but I'd love to have one anyway

Too much talking; not enough shooting.

Gun YouTube in a nutshell. Gotta have a 10+m video for the algorithm to show it to anyone, and you can't spend ten minutes just shooting.

Good, I have a need to remove a square foot of person per shot.

Bore guage terminology is reflected in the number of dimensional lead balls specific to a bore size that equal 1lb in weight, ie 12 lead balls with the corresponding dimension of a given bore size add up to a lb, a 20guage will have 20 balls that bore size that will equal a lbs...a .410 is actually a caliber size ie .410".

Looks fun but for a military application I'd rather be able to carry more rounds of 12 gauge.

There was a version made with a 7 round box magazine but it didn’t enter production. This thing isn’t for the military anyway. It was developed and sold for riot control. Can shoot tear gas canisters and non lethal ammo. If you look at the launchers used in that role it’s actually comparable, especially for 50 years ago when it was designed.
