ANYWAY, I really commented to talk about a case I got to overhear in custody court while waiting my own turn. The mother is hating on the father and audience is totally on his side, myself included..at first..wait for it. She's trying to prevent continuing supervised visits (Him visiting the kid, supervised by agent). She fired the mediator, so he has no visits for a long time, hence the complaint and hearing. Judge tries to set a new supervising person, but the mother resists and argues and sounds completely dumb. Just when you think shes being completely unreasonable, she drops something the judge already knew. The father wasn't just in jail for 2 years. He was in jail because he got the mother pregnant, when he raped her.

Details right? Anyway the reason I'm going on about this is because the Judge then basically proceeded to force the mother into allowing more frequent supervised visits with her rapist. Rape victim mother, resists to the point she suggest she will just give up the child so she doesn't have to see him anymore, Judge was having none of that and set them up a schedule to reset the visits... with her rapist.

He apologized for his "mistake".. so it's cool now.

Make a list of all her "abuses" using the same criteria. If it's enough to call it abuse for him,it's enough to call it abuse for her.

Document false accusations
Show she made the accusations after the break up, showing a pattern of instability

Ask for neutral 3rd party investigation
A Guardian Ad Litem or custody evaluatir

Stay calm even when attacked

If the judge says or does sharing that shows real bias, file a motion for recusal

Don't say anything emotional in my court or online

Helpful: prove accusations are false, sure accuser's motives to lie, show he is stable and caring, prevent being painted angry or dangerous
