I think the corruption is highest at the top (aristocracy) and the bottom (niggers) and this has been more or less true for a long time in all places, even ones without literal niggers. The elites will always seek allies in the lowest classes who have nothing else to contribute but their rabble rousing abilities, their animal desires, and their pathos inspiring state. Monogamy and other “moral” restrictions prevent certain bad actors from becoming too successful through exploitation and promote meritocracy.
