You aren't wrong, but the military philosophies behind the US and Russia are completely different.
Russian philosophy - as evident right now - is intent on trying to keep the infrastructure intact as much as possible, and even try to keep the Ukrainians from hating as much as possible. This is a meat-grinder philosophy where troops are seen as expendable.
The US philosophy is to destroy as much war making capacity of the enemy to try to preserve as much life as possible, although sending troops "in harm's way" on suicide missions isn't ever ruled out.
Given the differences, it is much more attractive to be conscripted into the US military than any other military.
That said, anyone who volunteers to fight kike wars is retarded.
