It’s not AI but it is CGI. There are a lot of fake ball lightning videos. They were popular before any AI tools were public.

Likely CGI. You can always tell these videos are fake due to the distance they are being observed and a lack of interaction with the environment.
Being that close to such a massive moving electromagnetic field would deep fry the camera.

IDK about the video's authenticity, but I disagree with a lot commenters on ball lightning being fake. We were visiting someone in rural Mississippi when I was a wee lad. A thing I described as the tip of a sparkler bounced across the landscape without ever actually touching the ground. It took years for me to learn about ball lightning and connect the dots.
