these retards thinks that we are going back to a gold standard, no we are getting ready to enter a tokenized epoch. the digital dollar is coming whether we like it or not

its also possible that hyperinflation will arrive sooner than later. this is why the top guys are cutting costs and giving themselves tax breaks because its coming is going be very very ugly for main street

That's like saying, "if there was a deadly global pandemic, the government would force people to get vaxxed." The government would only be able to take gold from people willing to let them take it. It would just end up being another easily-passed IQ test, that probably most people would fail.

Um thank you gold sales guy. If money collapses, I want all kinds of useful stuff. To barter as well as use. Back when precious metals were in regular use, silver was used for most everyday transactions with gold for things like land purchases. I guess this guy is thinking the dollar collapses, but your 401k is still good.

The idea that after a crash you'd just find someone who wants to trade goods or services for your chunks of gold metal seems optimistic at best. How much actual demand for jewelry would there be after an economic collapse?

In "Metro 2033" trade is done with 7.62 rounds of ammo.

And mushrooms! Strange story. Only in some of the first tunnels in the game. Am close to finishing the book.

Ah yes! It is a strange but I'd say fantastic book. Ideology, political, religion, metaphysical all wrapped up. I'm almost done with the first book as well. He's on the surface. Good game too. I plan to play it again to compare after I finish the book.

If there's a crash, gold/cash is still king.

I have 5 gallon buckets full of bullets buried out in the desert.
I'm ready for anything.
