Back then, getting from my original hometown to another place meant driving on single lane roads and a map could come in handy.

We'd pass all the farmhouses and acres of land. Course that was what farming was back then.

I remember stopping. Somewhere out in the middle of nowhere. Heat beating down, the smell of wheat. Insects buzzing. Nowhere to go for miles.

Small cities. Little diners. Went with my paps on his sales. Agriculture mainly. We'd tool around the region.

Nothing but hard working whites plowed, tilled and made sure the crop grew. Pigs were also big business.

I miss those days.
