AOU doesn't have an algorithm. His "algorithm" failed to identify my alts and still fails to identify my alts. The "algorithm" is simply just AOU. Something will alert him to take a closer look and that is the deciding factor. /ifuckdolhpinseverotherday was banned because i would delete a post whenever AOU would move it around. /ragnarthered was banned because i shared ALS /gofraudme memes. /surreptitious was banned because i posted a nigger raping pregnant women at hospital article that wasn't current, which caused him to read more into the account showing that it is obviously this guy right here.

I only really started using this place greatlly about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Oh it has its dramas. But the owners seem less petty. They banned a few of the ban hammer crowd and also antiliberalsociety. But then they forgave them all and let them come back. Im sure that wont be the last of it. They banned newworldebola as well. Im sure there have been a couple others. Its much better as far as I can tell.

In my opinion AOU is probably on our side, but he's also a control freak who tries to micromanage every interaction with his site, so spending any amount of time there is going to be frustrating.

Voat is better. Recently system made a decision to ban a prolific shitposter (fair) but then went further and banned everyone associated with him. He also may or may not have empowered a dial alt (mikenigger). Mostly he's been a good admin but that decision is heading down the AOU road a little from my perspective. He hasn't done anything like it since though so it may be a one-off.

Goatpen (preview.goatpen.co) is a lot more hands off. Seren rarely bans anyone, and refused to ban people for serial downvoting/shitposting. Downside is that he also rarely maintains the site. There's a team trying to 2.0 goatpen and make it into a proper voat style site, but for now it's running on an SJW reddit clone called lemmy, complete with word filters.

I merely made the assertion that violence has always been ended by greater violence. That historically violence and men's ability to be violent have been venerated and celebrated.

Then I made the assertion that the violence of masks and vaccine mandates, the violence of lockdowns, etc... Can be ended by the individual use of greater violence.

It really depends on how business and workers react. If there's a mass refusal to comply, it will either go away or they will ramp up the aggression, in which case we will be heading for civil war. The worst case scenario is that something like 10% refuse to comply, which put a great many in the awkward spot of being disposable.
