I said more or less the same when this was posted on poal yesterday. LaVeyan Satanism is a red herring with an edgy name. Its philosophy is simply an inversion of the ten commandments for for edgy narcissists and nothing else. That form of "Satanism" forgoes idolotry of all except that of self, which they call "Satan".

It's stupid, it does _not_ belong in schools, but it's not the bogeyman you think of when you hear its name.

I typo'd. I absolutely DID NOT mean to say this should be taught in schools (shouldn't vs should); fixed that. My follow-up comment on poal's topic yesterday specifically stated that public schools should be entirely neutral politically, and that religious or philosophical beliefs are completely on the onus of the parents to teach.
