To be fair, he does have a point there, the US has done plenty of equivalent things. But all of those things were wrong. And so is this.

It's an overused meme, but this really is driven by a kind of Napoleon complex. I've been a long time listener of his speeches. He has a very effective method of conversing in a level manner with his people and explains his actions. There was a journalist who was of course prompted to ask but nevertheless Putin was asked about his role in the crimea crisis and he admitted he lied and explained the tactical advantage of having lied to the EU and why he did what he did without permission.

When people recognize that a state of change needs to occur they almost always back the strongest will to action as they are unlikely to attain that form themselves. A true leader explains his motive and while he did what he did it was recognized that it was his role as the Leader to do these things. To act and not be acted upon.

Either way the west is dead and russia not too far long with it. We have this one last chance here in the next 5 years, maybe ten however i personally don't believe it to be of much value. They will have their nigger zenith. Only delays not deviations this much is sure.
