I agree. The premises are entertaining, but they require the reader to bring a lot to the table. There's potential, but not real delivery. The CERN schedule goes out to 2027. They've already got the next upgrade to the system planned, the 'high luminosity' version with an increase in collisions by something like a factor of ten.

Exactly what information is being sent? Is there a model here for how to encode information about military targets in sub-atomic particles that could endure through the obliteration of these collisions and travel across dimensions?

It's just lazy shit. But what am I really expecting from a LARP? Somebody with interest in applying that much effort would be better off just writing a novel.

This is certainly possible. You can do quantum entanglement of atoms and securely send information without transmitting anything between the atoms. Literally impossible to intercept, because there’s nothing being sent. The problem is that you can’t decode that information without an external decryption source which MUST be sent across the intervening space.

The universe is orderly and obeys immutable rules. If it didn’t, what we see wouldn’t exist or be possible. As such, its machinations at the quantum level are equally reproducible. Quantum entanglement exists. It’s how everything’s built.

Quantum entanglement causes a change in state. This change can be induced. The measurement of the change after the fact proves it exists. Not sure what’s hard to understand there.
