Darwin was a Freemason so it makes sense why his theories were so heavily promoted. I’m still on the fence on evolution tho. I believe that adaptation of some kind does exist I just don’t think what they’re telling us is the truth tbh. There must be more to earth’s history that the Jews aren’t telling us and I’m starting to think maybe the creationists might be on to something at the very least. It shouldn’t be that much of a controversy to at least hear their arguments
It's not a controversy to hear their arguments. It's a controversy when their arguments are taught in science class because their arguments are pseudo science.their arguments are either unfalsifiable or easily refuted with a cursory understanding of geology, astronomy, and biology. High school level courses in these subjects are enough to falsify most creationist claims of things like the global flood, 6000 year Earth, etc.
By 1850, a lot of relevant facts about plant and animal breeding were widely known. If one person was slow to join the dots, some-one else would scoop them (and nearly did!). Doubting evolution because of doubts about Charles Darwin is a bit like disbelieving infinitesimal calculus because you don't like Germans and Leibniz was a German; you should only trust English mathematics :-)

It’s late and I’m tired. The science says I must rest in order to create, tomorrow. 😜
