Why we cannot give 50 billions to niggers so they can run small business.

We already gave them trillions in U.S. and gazillions in Africa. Nothing has changed.

I have been using voat for a very long time now, and I don't say this to act like I have some kind of veteran redditor experience; I know I'm fucking retarded, it's the reason why I can only use voat in the first place. I merely want to preface the statement with my historical observations. There is a new person complaining about voat every so often. I haven't been methodically recording the frequency but there are regular intervals where someone starts to complain about voat not "being what it used to be."

First of all, why does voat need to grow? Everyone assumes that the default gauge of a healthy enterprise is growth. But is that why we are here? Is this an enterprise that is looking for long term, sustained growth? To many people, my comment may appear rather foolish and I can understand that. But if the mission of this site is truly to offer a forum of free speech, I would say planned growth is a negative. Planned growth leads to people compromising their morals for the sake of growth. Look at everything around you in this world. People tell you that the most important thing is the economy, and that it needs to grow in order to be healthy. People sacrifice their entire lives working a dead end job that they hate and are told that it's good for the economy. Everyone puts on their face every day to go to a bullshit job that they hate and act like Priscilla in HR isn't a huge fucking cunt that they wish death upon and all the other stupid fucking corporate bullshit you're forced to pretend to care about and they do it all because the company needs to grow and it's a service to the economy.

I don't want to pretend like bullshit is truth just for the sake of growth. The old voat changed quite a lot and the new iteration has changed as well. It will keep changing with the coming and going of users.

But the fact remains that it is still a place where you just say random shit without someone banning you. As long as you can do that, what else do you really need out of the experience?
