I disabled site colors because I wanted to see what links I've already visited.

As an alternative to colors, you could have clicking in a thread make that thread's box bold.

I much prefer Voat/night mode..

Edit.
After hitting the decolorize button in order to toggle back, the text of the replies in my inbox - which is colored dark grey in the night mode- are colored black, making it impossible to see….

I'm voating nay.
The differential between black and grey on the background makes it easy enough to determine what sub thread I'm in.
But, if you wanted to make it a choice for people you could add a third toggle for day and night mode (or have it in settings).

Colors will ruin the cool minimalist white / grey look. Colors make look cheesy and gay.

I still have same issue. Everything is normal except for the link text in submissions is dark blue and the text inside my profile responses is black like the screenshot of lepersbell below.
