But barrel loads of nuclear waste is okay why? I live off grid and solar panels plus a gasoline generator for supplement are my only source of electricity.
Old burned out panels make good chicken coop roofing by the way. A steam engine might be functional but I don't get enough sun to boil water. PV panels on the other hand still crank out plenty of juice to supply my needs even on cloudy rainy days, of which I get many. Just use fire you say, ok I'll just spend hours each day cutting down my beautiful Ohia forest and chopping wood. Because I couldn't possibly have other shit to get done around here

I don't care if they have toxic materials in them.

I just want to create my own power independently off of the government controlled, regulated, and taxed grid.

They start with taxing the shit out of gasoline, limiting its supply, and they'll eventually move to electricity. While it's not feasible to drill my own well and refine my own oil and gas, it is currently feasible to create a percentage of my electricity.

And no. I don't currently own any panels, and I'm not some tree hugging electric car driving hippy. But soon they'll outlaw solar panels because they allow people to have some freedom from the government's taxes and control.

Get solar panels while you can. The grid can't support even a few electric cars. Soon you're going to need to have some independence from the grid.

Have you looked into biogas generators? They collect methane from decomposing organic wastes than can be burned for fuel. Use a wood stove for heat, build underground for cooling and food preservation. If the grid's out you might as well live according to natural rhythms eliminating a lot of lighting. Solar seems pretty retarded large scale since you can grow stuff where there's sunlight.

As long as its disposed of the right way. Even spent nuclear fuel could be disposed of just all of the red tape makes it difficult. They could dig deep holes in geologically stable rock formations and just leave it down there. Problem solved. That rock will hold it for a billion years in the right places. Still environmentalists complain.

Ok,here's the break down. "Alternatvie energy" is about "looking busy". None of it is supposed to actually work. They need it to not work so they can keep using oil while pretending they're "working on it". It's all part of the con. It's why oil companies are the major investors in the technology that would destroy their business.

If you want a real solar engine,get some big mirrors,point them so they reflect sunlight on a steam engine that cranks a generator. Unlimited power,just add water.

You're describing a concentrator tower. Usually the medium of energy is actually molten salt which is then used to create the steam for the turbines. It's a lot more complicated than just adding water.

Only works for small scale solar towers if I'm remembering right. The ones that use water only make as much energy as a diesel generator.

Well,it's a steam engine. You can just use something else to heat it under those conditions. And since Russia can use a solar furnace all year round,winter isn't an issue.

E waste is crazy. There are third world towns where they spend all day getting the small amounts of precious metals, breathing in lead and mercury fumes all day.
