It's the golden handcuffs. And of course there are a lot of professions that if you stay in them as an underpaid person serving their propaganda person purposes as a teacher that after 10 years of your life wasted at a low paying job that you don't really want you may have your student loans forgiven. It sounds like they're doing something for you but really it's just keeping in further slavement. I mean it sucks. It just sucks. There's no question that it sucks and it's really tragic that you cannot get out of student loans with bankruptcy because if you could everybody should do it. There's no reason student loan should be exempt from bankruptcy except they are designed to capture you. And half the people who took student loans were underage when they signed for them. I mean it just isn't evil evil system for education that's not worth what you even spend the hours getting it for for the most part. Especially today when you can learn anything you want online.

I think if I was in your situation unless I really wanted to be a mom which of course is great I would go for the highest paying job I could invite the bullet and pay that crap off as fast as I could rather than be enslaved and not have a choice about what I was doing with my life. That's assuming you can get a high paying job but of course the high paying jobs really are sales jobs in high dollar items where you're making a percentage commission of very high dollar items. And of course you really don't even need an education to do any of those jobs. In fact most of the people who invested those jobs have less and not more education. And of course you also have to be slightly dishonest sometimes although I've certainly been in sales positions where my honesty is absolutely helped me. If you're in a sales position that requires people who are audited and must be financially responsible then you absolutely must be very honest with your sales as well and you cannot misrepresent things because every purchase everything will be discovered at some point and usually it's within a year in the accounting department.

Now you have to get out of the second kind of insidious debt that they don't call that but really is. And that is being attached to the utilities like water gas and Electric which are really an involuntary monthly payment that you must make which will constantly increase and will cripple your future savings. And you've got to figure out a way to start to get off of those or minimize those although it's not legal to completely disconnect and many married many areas of course. But you can at least start to limit your usage and get some independent power production like a few solar panels and other things that can run heaters in the winter and maybe a window air conditioner in the summer to at least lessen the impact of that involuntary payment that they've got you tied to. You really do need to start thinking about utilities as debt because in all ways they're have exactly the same effect. It's an involuntary monthly payment that you must make to stay alive and it keeps you from growing your assets. So my suggestion to you is if your living situation and land ownership situation allows it to buy yourself about a thousand watts of solar panels that you put out over the top of your patio as your patio roof and you get yourself a cheap inverter and you plug that directly into either an electric heater or an electric window air conditioner which you start to use to supplement your heating and cooling in your house. It will directly cut out your utility payment in an after-tax fashion. In other words if it saves you $50 a month on your utility bill or $100 a month on your utility bill then that's $100 a month of after tax money you have saved. And believe me it'll work. And you don't need batteries and you don't need to be tied to the grid. In fact you absolutely do not want to tie your solar panels to the electrical infrastructure in your house. You want to plug it into stuff in your window or through the window through a power cord. You don't want to try to get into the Jew trap of subsidized solar panels. Get on Amazon or get on eBay and buy yourself some cheap 100 watt solar panels for less than $100 each if you want them new or better yet get on eBay and buy some used solar panels from some of the solar farms that they've dismantled and buy them for $30 for 100 Watts instead.

I know of him. I read the barefoot investor, he just said "earn more money" which was unhelpful, although of course I did. I mainly kept limiting spending, was a tightarse (like almost never paying full price for anything) and throwing extra money on the loan and credit card whenever possible.

Step 2. Obsess over grocery prices, download app that tells you weekly specials, plan meals around that. Get loyalty cards.

Step 3. Put all extra money on debt. Have an emergency fund but don't worry saving while in debt.

Step 4: do paid surveys or extra jobs to get any extra shekels.
