I'm not a big gamer. I used to play more as a kid, but I've followed the FF series out of sheer nostalgia. FF7 was an experience. I haven't played any of them since FF10, which has got to be going on twenty years old now.

Honestly, the trailer for 16 looks great. I'm glad to see they're getting away from that tired futuristic aesthetic that has dominated the games for a while. They look to be returning to a medieval theme.

I may or may not give this one a go. I'd have to actually go and buy a PS5 in order to do it. Given that it would collect dust after that, I'm not sure I will.

The franchise needs to think about something other than the combat scheme. They've been trying to innovate something none of their die-hard fans really wanted to be innovated. Just write good stories for fucks sake.
