Twitter UI is extremely annoying

It's impossible to check the messages like in a forum. You have to scroll all the messages to know what they are about. Scrolling Twitter takes about one hour, and if you lose the page, you have to start scrolling from the beginning. Twitter is a waste of time. It's not designed for fast exchange of information.

Agreed, however if you use tweetdeck, it does make it slightly less annoying.

Twitter is a shitty forum. It has a shitty mobile-centric interface. The main thing Twitter does "right" is serve up rage bait.

It was not originally meant to be a forum. It was meant for up-to-the-second communication, not scrolling and searching past history.

Twitter is designed to worship and promote celebrities. That’s how the ui and layout was designed.

Unlike ie reddit which is designed to promote the best ideas / content of anyone.

I gave up on twitter a long time ago. It's a great place to find more noncontroversial account for information or religion or hobbies and art but eventually they demand a phone number and lock you out until you give one. Since Elon grabbed twitter, they have pretty much stopped accepting "I don't have a phone" as a response.

It's also leakable private info that is no one's business not to mention that twitter has been busting abusing that information.

Probably because it's not a forum. Those are dying in a sense. Discord is displacing them.

Search works pretty well though, well maybe not now. It's gotten slower recently.
