I think wine & beer are less damaging than hard liquors. It's more healthy to drink a bottle of wine that a couple of glasses of liquor. You drink wine slowly, which helps your body to absorb alcohol in more efficient way. If you hit a glass of hard liquor, it goes right away to hit your liver and kidenys very hard.

You don't drink glasses of liquor.

1.5 Oz of liquor is the alcohol equivalent of 4 Oz of wine or 12 Oz of beer and, in those proportions, wine is probably best for most people, but you'll get fat as fuck getting drunk on beer. Some people have sensitivities to wine, making liquor a better fit.

I've seen it said that beer is the origin of agrarian society. That we stayed in one place in order to grow grain and brew it. If true, beer created civilization.

It was very weak beer, 2% max. Water supplies were often contaminated with bacteria and micro-organisms. Turning water into beer mostly guaranteed a safe supply of something to drink. Drunkenness was NOT cool with Pilgrim mores.

FunFact: they almost turned back to England halfway through the trip, as they were running low. When they finally got to the New World, one of the first things they did was start brewing beer again.

Liquor isn't supposed to be consumed straight. You're supposed to mix it with other drinks to dilute it or with water to kill pathogens.

What the fuck? If I pour a whiskey, it will last me 45 minutes to an hour. Small sips to enjoy the flavor. I certainly wouldn't do shots like a faggot zoomer whose entire education on alcohol comes from Hollywood.
