Opening the door is the fast way to get fresh/cool air on a hot day. Best only done in a small two seater though.

That or you know you don't pay attention lest expect someone to do that, let alone in a none nigged country like Korea.

"opened the door manually by touching the lever,"

Your life depends on whoever they randomly put in that seat? [skeptical look]

I guess a flight attendant lied to me. I was by a door and she joked about me not to even think about opening the door. I joked ya my first thought was what would happen. She said we don't worry about it no way you could open the door<<< because of some bs stuff I guess she made up.

But why not lie then the person would think it's impossoble

I’m guessing there was a malfunction with the aircraft pressurization system. Normally the interior of the airplane is pressurized and that prevents the doors from being opened even at that low altitude. If the pressurization system were operating normally the aircraft would be pressurized to an altitude below the landing destination. The pressure will equalize after the wheels touch down. The fact that a passenger was able to open a door/exit in flight means the aircraft was unpressurized in flight. That’s not right. It was either a malfunction or crew error. This should not have been able to happen.

(Also, the passengers having “breathing” problems after the door was opened is because they were scared shitless! They were well below 10,000 feet.)

They were on approach at 700ft, so the differential would have been about 0.3psi or less.

Also the A321 has hydraulic dampers on the emergency exits that can double as actuators.

The cabin controller is programmed to have the cabin altitude at field elevation +0.1psi on touchdown.

That being the case, then the A321 has a serious design flaw. Fortunately for Airbus a passenger discovered it for them, lol!
