I’ve had the same Liberty safe for 25 years. It’s got the electronic push button combo, rather than the dial. I programmed the 6 digits myself. Those pricks must have added a ‘back door’ code.

There is one. My father had to deal with Liberty Customer Service to open his safe with a master code a few years ago.

The entire process is a nightmare that took weeks.

I’ll bet. I guess you would have to prove you were the owner and not some nigger calling customer support to open up some other niggers safe.

I paid cash for mine, I have no receipt, and I never send in those warranty cards. I guess I need to open it up and sit inside while my wife takes my picture, maybe another one of the serial number with my face pressed against it. Those two pics should prove ownership to any reasonable man.

Need more info... did the FBI have a search warrant? Did the FBI issue a subpoena? It is possible Liberty Safe was strong armed by the FBI and had no choice. Until we get more facts we don't know if Liberty Safe are boot licking collaborators or if they are victims themselves.

Why in the hell would Liberty Safe even connect the safe codes like that? what possible reason could an offsite storage system need to a wifi connection? And how did it even connect to the "cloud" in the first place?

That's not how this work. That's not how any of this works.

When a safe manufacture makes a safe they keep record of the combination for each safe serial number. When law enforcement presents a search warrant and a serial number the safe manufacturer is obligated to provide the safe combo. This has been the case forever and is true across the industry

Outside nefarious reasons, there is absolutely zero reasons a safe manufacturer would ever need to store codes and attach serial numbers to the code for the safe. This is nothing more than another bootlicking company working with the feds against their customers

They are not obligated to do shit. There isn't a law saying they had to disclose the combo. This is an internal company policy to give that info out based on a valid warrant.

We had a family member forget his combination for his Liberty Safe.

The recovery process took WEEKS.

The amount of documentation he had to provide to prove his identity, proof of purchase, and etc. was enough for him to give the safe away and buy from another manufacturer.
