I managed to increase my income by close to 75% in the past 10 years. It was great at first, but looking back, I made more money as a ratio of purchasing power back then than i do now. Sure I make more on paper now, but gas used to be much cheaper, taxes were cheaper, stuff was overall cheaper. Even if i wanted to buy something now, like a house, its horribly overpriced, and not worth it, usually made of lower tier builder grade shit. Cars arent much better, as its a race to the bottom to see who can make it for cheaper. I was looking on Zillow, and some of these houses are commanding insane prices. One of them was bought for 40,000 not even 2 years ago, and they want 200,000 for it now ... Cars that used to cost maybe 10,000, cost 35,000 or more. Not that i need a new car anyway.
You have pensions so broke and bankrupt they've resorted to suing companies for lost earnings (NYC Pension fund entered the chat), most criminals get away with it since the justice system either doesn't care or is in on the take, everything is just complete crap now
The (cold hard) reality is that a 75% increase in salary in 10 years is not an accomplishment. It's a slightly above average standard of living increase.
The OP, and most like him who think similarly, do not have either skills to justify more or comprehension of the way the world works enough to demand more.
It's unfortunate, but most of the sheep are this way. It's one of many problems with FreeDUMB USA.

I agree. I see where my career path leads and want nothing to do with it. The moment I started making decent money, I started building a scalable business.
Successful doctors and lawyers are business owners. You don’t find wealth in a job but you can use it to start something great.
And that's assuming that the inflation measures that dataset is using are correct - if inflation is actually much higher (as it seems to be for most consumers), then we've been screwed out of a lot more of what we should be earning.
Bro a 12 pack of coke is $8. It was $3 in 2000. That's about 4.36% annualized. And don't even get me started on my Jew numbers. My income/hour has increased by more than a factor of 6 since then and yet an hour of work now buys the same number of index funds shares as it did then. Looking forward to retirement, if it exists, a 16 year old gas station clerk is doing as much for his future by saving x% of his income as a 50 year old medical doctor saving the same x%, in actual dollars too. You can't ignore the Jew value of money.
I bought a starter home built in the 1960s before the pandemic. Been thinking about upgrading but the prices people are asking is just crazy. To have someone come out and build you a custom home is like 500k minimum now. Will just have to wait until the crash or suck it up and get in debt.
I went from making 50$/hr and feeling super poor to making 120$/hr and still feeling poor ... I know in my mind its supposed to be an amazing salary, but its not really. Part of me wonders if that @FuckShitJesus is right and i need to ask for more, but i cant comprehend where or how would even reach beyond that level. Sure, I could go down the LLC world, but the paperwork and legalese will destroy you in a short time. You make more money up front, to have a bunch of bullshit fees thrown your way.
The uplift itself makes the legal cost & expertise a small rounding error.
Think bigger. Your only limitation is your risk aversion. This is why the average sheep is comfortable being given a (what they think is actually beneficial to them..) "benefits" package, hand picked for the best outcome for their employer and simply deducted from the total compensation they would otherwise get if they bought their own benefits private. Sheep are sheep, because they trade a bit of (perceived) safety & security for someone else making the most from their labor.
You merely need to recapture your labor for yourself, and you will swiftly see that if you are legitimately capable, you've simply been stolen from your entire life. It's a completely freeing experience.
Successful people almost never become successful by working for others. You must work for yourself.
It will never be enough. Most people are totally complicit with the regime, which is why those in the knowse refer to them as cattle.
I exchanged comments with someone recently who said "Yes, I'd love to be a pet and be taken care of by my owner." Poor guy was confusing pets with animals raised for consumption. They haven't bred 8 billion of us out of love and compassion. Overbreeding reduces overall quality, but is more than compensated by the massively increased profits and power.
Stop giving a fuck when it isnt your turn to give a fuck is what it boils down to.
Arrogance: That's what this boils down too.
We live in one of the most selfish societies that has ever come to exist. It's no surprise, because of this, that we give a fuck about something that isn't even ours to give a fuck about.
We've conflated things in our mind as we arrogantly claim authority over something which we have absolutely no control.
And what results is similarly predictable; what happens when you worry about something you have no control over? Anxiety, which men tend to outlet as anger because it is easier to explain (less embarrassing of an emotion) being mad than being afraid.
Good. Acceptance is the last step. There's nothing we can do. If you look at the pure numbers, the United States can only be saved by a mass racial cleansing campaign.
We can't even get "based and redpilled" people to agree this is necessary. Convincing normies? Impossible.
Best we can hope for is a good K/D ratio when they come kick down our doors 10 years from now. Until then I'm just going to enjoy life.
Apathy in the face of destruction. I'm bout there myself. I don't care anymore. I can't do anything other than mind my own business. Best case scenario is I'm not homeless and broke, so I make it my business to not do that. Past that, I'm powerless to effect real change. I'd love RWDS to take the brown and Hebrew off the ledger, but I won't do it alone and all my friends won't do it with me. What am I left with? Two car payments, rent, and an overall feeling of apathy for the shit I can't change.
I must admit to taking a certain perverse pleasure, whenever I hear someone down here (south Texas votes heavily democrat) start complaining about inflation, the cost of food, or the price of gas, or how little their pay is worth, etc., etc., in saying:
"Bet you're really starting to regret that vote for Biden now, huh?"
And the look on their face tells me all I need to know.
You can still buy an extremely good, functional car for $10k.
Housing is trickier but that's primarily due to overpopulation and refusal to build new housing. In the long term this will be partially resolved by the boomer die-off but that won't help you in the near term. If you didn't buy a house already it's probably wise to put that plan aside for the next 10 years and use those financial resources differently.
You can still fund your life with the things you need at a reasonable cost, you just need to change your behavior.
Brainlets like bush cuck don't really understand the actual problem of overpopulation. It isn't that there are too many people in terms of basic needs like food and shelter, you can get those in even the worst slum or favela. The problem is there are too many people in shithole countries who demand and feel entilted to the western first world lifestyle, and the western first world people. There aren't too many Europeans or North Americans. There are too many of everyone else. They ALL want to come here, and are pouring in by the millions. THAT is the true problem of overpopulation.
