I have an acquaintance who is from Lebanon, and his wife from Syria, living in Canada. They say that the reason for the war Syria war was because 'theres too many countries in the area getting along ie too many Shia countries. Assad was to be ousted and some Sunni put in. Then he says the reason for Ukraine was to force Putin to redirect his forces and funds out of Syria. So, idk what's been happening in Syria since Ukraine, can't trust the piece of shit MSM, so maybe someone can fill me in.
