@x0x7...I'm no stranger to fruit flies, they're a fact of life and have their place in the food chain, the wife is a bird, animal and nature nut, and she's deadly accurate at 200yrds with her caliber .17WSM Savage, anyways she's got humming bird feeders all over our wrap around porch and we'll watch the humming birds pick off fruit flies, half of this entire area I'm in is old apple and pear orchard, a century of fruit which is why the wildlife is so abundant, fuck I've got everything out here ie moose, deer, BEAR, coyotes, we have 3 Timberwolves and blah blah blah, everything, but the insect nuisance was part of life, today these fuckers are everywhere...when I posted about the fruit flies I was in Toronto in the company RV 5 minutes from my crane, Fridays I come back home, but I keep the place clean, I even keep the garbage outside and whatever fruit and veg I have are in the fridge or covered on the counter, and the AC is always on cold...the thing is that the fucking things are everywhere, even in the crane shop where everything is grease, oils, fuels etc etc etc and these bastards are larger than the common fruit flie and they bite, also, just this year I've noticed a strain of mosquitos that are fucking huge, at least 3 times larger than our typical skitters and they're black not the common brown and do they ever take a lot of blood.
