Cutting carbs is a great tool to reduce hunger and increase satiety which can help a person eat less.

That applies to losing body fat. Genetics and the way inflammation manifests depends person to person.

Agreed. I start my morning with 3 grams of salt mixed into a glass of water.

I can’t lose weight if I eat dairy and it makes me snore. So I avoid it. Which sucks because I’d drink milk all day every day if I could. Plain full fat Greek yogurt or Kefir makes me exhausted the next day. Just can’t do it.

No. It all comes down to "do you consume more food energy in a day than you need to sustain yourself?" If the answer to that is "yes" then you become a fatass.

Find out how much energy you need in a given day, and don't eat more than that. Then figure out what combinations keep the hunger away longest without going over that amount.

Modern processed foods are incredibly energy-dense calorie bombs. People get fat because they eat them until they're no longer "hungry" (and modern people have been brainwashed into thinking "not 100% full = hungry") which means they eat more than they actually need. But the bottom line is energy in vs energy out, and always has been.

The reason humans evolved to eat meat is because it was literally impossible to consume enough calories in a day as a herbivore to sustain the kind of brain development we ended up having. The only reason vegans don't starve is because modern processed foods have allowed energy-dense slop to replace animal proteins.

Yes. Hard to get in some places . Pa. And Northwest Virginia have the best homemade. You can get the commercial kind in Publix and it's not bad.

I tried buying some tallow online. It was so bland. I didn't really notice it. As a cooking grease, it worked and had a high smoke point but I didn't feel any different. I had rendered some tallow myself from a brisket and that was absolutely magical and it made everything taste amazing.

I need a good source of tallow.
