Super Mario platforms are good games, but they lack punches. The only thing Mario can do is stomp on enemies. Just stomping feels gay. I have high testosterone and enjoy punching enemies. Sonic, for example, can hit enemies directly with super speed rotations. This also feels good. I just can't stand the gay stomping in Mario. I enjoy 3D Mario games because they are about exploring open world and solving puzzles. But still miss god damn punches.
What about eating a fire flower to spit fireballs? Riding a dinosaur to eat your enemies or spit them against each other? Merge with a star to become invincible and deadly to anything you touch? Or simply eat a mushroom to become Super Mario and withstand a hit?
And those are just the old games...
