Made a Mistake Today

submitted by __47__ to TellTalk 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 20:12:07 ago (+10/-0)     (TellTalk)

I ventured on to YouTube to see what was going on. I know I know.

Only ads featured niggers. Like only niggers including perfume ads with that nigger that played little mermaid.

Saw a short of some amerifat complaining about food prices. Fair. What did she buy? Two gallons of ice cream, cereal, multiple packages of ramen, processed chips like funyuns, two trays of mini donuts, ranch dressing, cheezits and more for $115 and she's feeding this shit to her kids. Unfuckingreal. Course she had fat wings.

I know I'm preaching but it's so fucking easy still to eat on a modest budget. You have butchers, you have rice, beans, homemade Ramen. Fuck you can even make your own ice cream and it'll be 10x better. If you have to have chips buy the store brand. They're the same FUCKING thing.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 09:47:35 ago (+0/-0)

Hope you don’t pay for youtube like a loser

[ - ] Kozel 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 18:22:54 ago (+0/-0)

I use freetube

[ - ] __47__ [op] 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 19:53:57 ago (+0/-0)

I'll be getting that. Thanks for the heads up.

[ - ] __47__ [op] 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 16:34:47 ago (+0/-0)

It's the mobile app. I was only watching the shorts but as ya scroll they have thumbnails. But ya probably have cancer now.

[ - ] Kozel 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 18:22:21 ago (+0/-0)

ok and? alternative apps for browsing youtube exist. you are a faggot by choice.

[ - ] __47__ [op] 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 19:53:19 ago (+0/-0)

Can ya tell me which? I seriously don't know. I'd much rather use an alternative.

[ - ] Kozel 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 20:55:03 ago (+0/-0)

tubular, newpipe, freetube, go on fdroid and search for youtube and pick the one you like

[ - ] __47__ [op] 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 21:23:08 ago (+0/-0)

Thanks man. I will do so.

[ - ] namefagsrgay 5 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 21:08:58 ago (+5/-0)

If you watch ads it's just your low intelligence punishing you.

Type in ad blocker and expand your mind.

[ - ] __47__ [op] 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 16:31:59 ago (+0/-0)

Not watching them. Scrolling through and they are thumbnails.

[ - ] NaturalSelectionistWorker 5 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 20:17:04 ago (+5/-0)

As someone who cooks most of my own meals, "just make your own" is not a great solution for families where the wife has to work to help pay the bills. Yeah you can make it work but that doesn't change the systemic factors making it harder for everyone to survive.

[ - ] Gowithit 9 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 20:22:16 ago (+11/-2)

I don't work outside of the home but a good solid 5 or so hours on a day off for meal prep will make the rest of her week sail.

[ - ] __47__ [op] 7 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 20:29:06 ago (+7/-0)

That's what I do. I have a whole cupboard of glass sealed containers. Make food for a day reheat it later. Ya it's not Gordon Ramsey fresh but it's fine.

[ - ] con77 5 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 21:10:32 ago (+5/-0)

Crockpot is great

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 09:51:51 ago (+0/-0)

Or you could get a wife and have fresh food infinitely better for you

[ - ] NaturalSelectionistWorker 3 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 22:12:47 ago (+3/-0)

I do meal prep too but 5 hours a week is half a work shift. It's a lot of time for a working parent. Not saying people shouldn't do it but it's a big time investment for people who already work too much to enrich our jew overlords.

[ - ] TheYiddler 3 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 06:03:45 ago (+3/-0)

Why do you work? So you can give five hours of your week to your lunch spots and still need to pay for dinner?

If you work for yourself you can skip the middleman.

[ - ] Gowithit 1 point 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 07:46:53 ago (+1/-0)*

fantastic point and this is the crux. why is everyone expected to work so hard and for so long? Comfort and ease. It's what feeds the "systemic factors" that @naturalselectionistworker complained about.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 10:10:13 ago (+0/-0)

Because you sub iq people who are unqualified are being given all our jobs

[ - ] Gowithit 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 10:21:32 ago (+0/-0)

You are not wrong. Again it's for ease and comfort. No one needs a 24 hour store or premade pb and j sandwiches. But my time! But what I'm accustomed to!

If people weren't so heavily reliant on quick and ready made things there wouldn't be a market for it and then these companies wouldn't be able to slide in "imported subsidized slaves"

It starts with the women. If they just said no and didn't participate it would either stop the whole mess or kick off the necessary shit show that's needed to end it.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 11:11:41 ago (+0/-0)

It doesn’t start with the women at all. Women have no agency and no original thought. They do as they are told.
Women are not even 6th on the list.
It starts with White men as usual

[ - ] Gowithit 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 11:32:37 ago (+0/-0)*

Hahaha no. You get along to get along. The women need to say no I'm not doing this run around shit anymore find ways around expenses get together as they used to and not listen to the "just wait".

The white men giving permission to say no would make it easier but the women shouldn't wait.

[ - ] Tallest_Skil 7 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 20:37:57 ago (+7/-0)

Crock pots are great. Look into those.

[ - ] PeckerwoodPerry 7 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 20:55:36 ago (+7/-0)

Air fryers are pretty great too. I got one for a gift like two years ago, but I rebelled against using it. Tried it out a couple weeks ago and now I use it a lot. Beats the shit out of a microwave, which is what my mind was comparing it to I guess.

[ - ] __47__ [op] 5 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 20:58:08 ago (+5/-0)

Diced potatoes with seasoning will crisp up fantastic in there. I've made homemade pizzas out of one.

[ - ] PeckerwoodPerry 5 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 21:02:07 ago (+5/-0)

I mainly just use it to fry up a couple chicken thighs. I eat chicken and lentils a couple times a week. God damn do I love lentils. I'd be fine with eating lentils every day if I had to.

[ - ] __47__ [op] 6 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 21:05:13 ago (+6/-0)

That's good stuff. Have ya tried cast iron?

[ - ] PeckerwoodPerry 5 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 21:20:48 ago (+5/-0)

Yeah, got a couple good cast iron skillets I use fairly regularly. They're the best. I either use that or copper, fuck Teflon.

[ - ] __47__ [op] 4 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 21:26:34 ago (+4/-0)

Good good. Iron can be really diffult to learn. Copper is a bit easier.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 11:17:05 ago (+0/-0)

You are using teflon in your air fryer

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 11:16:26 ago (+0/-0)

That’s pretty gross, mate. Aren’t you the same guy who loves hot food too?
You sure you aren’t a half breed jeet or kebab?

[ - ] con77 3 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 21:14:15 ago (+3/-0)

They heat up them fat wings good too!

[ - ] HonkyMcNiggerSpic 3 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 22:11:34 ago (+3/-0)

We bought a new kitchen stove a couple years ago and it has air fryer and all kinds of shit and I can never eat tater tots and fries again unless they are air fried. It smells like county fair food when its cooking and is crunchy and bitchin. Of course I season my fries and tots up with an all seasoning or sometimes use a good Italian mix seasoning. It goes right through them.

[ - ] PeckerwoodPerry 2 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 01:37:27 ago (+2/-0)

See, this is one of those futuristic things that definitely doesn't suck.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 11:18:06 ago (+0/-0)

What stove is it?

[ - ] HonkyMcNiggerSpic 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 13:58:14 ago (+0/-0)

Its a glass top Samsung. IDK which model but it was about $1500 at Lowes. Before this I had gas and I miss our gas stove. Glass top sucks balls. But the oven is awesome.

[ - ] Gowithit 1 point 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 14:37:03 ago (+1/-0)

The two should be hybrided. Call it the mullet. Party(gas) on the top, business(electric oven with air fryer) on the bottom.

[ - ] HonkyMcNiggerSpic 1 point 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 14:39:23 ago (+1/-0)

haha This could be how we get rich.

[ - ] Ragnar 1 point 3 monthsFeb 27, 2025 00:22:45 ago (+1/-0)

Thanks!
Though tempted by the oven, I would never part with my gas stove.
Real fire cooks best

[ - ] HonkyMcNiggerSpic 0 points 3 monthsFeb 27, 2025 11:06:28 ago (+0/-0)

The stand alone air fryers are decent. You can just sit it on your countertop somewhere. They don't cost much either. Definitely worth having one. I use it a lot

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 11:14:51 ago (+0/-0)

Hope it’s not lined with teflon or other nonstick ptfe etc

[ - ] bohmoonx 5 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 22:03:44 ago (+5/-0)

Dutch oven better than Crock Pot, I can't explain wife does the cooking.

[ - ] Gowithit 1 point 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 23:02:06 ago (+2/-1)

its magic. Even cooks it quicker than with a crockpot.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 11:18:29 ago (+0/-0)

Good man

[ - ] con77 3 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 21:12:22 ago (+3/-0)

Weeellll gawdayum!

We finally agreed on something

And you weren't negative!

Now go outside and take a deep breath

[ - ] Tallest_Skil 2 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 21:32:17 ago (+2/-0)

We rarely disagree, to my knowledge...

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 11:13:52 ago (+0/-0)

Suck. Dry the meat out, no flavour. Can burn the house down.
What you need to look into is the og crockpots aka wives

[ - ] Tallest_Skil 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 13:02:58 ago (+0/-0)

Dry the meat out, no flavour.

What on Earth are you doing with yours?

Can burn the house down.

Is it from the 1950s?

[ - ] Gowithit 1 point 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 14:38:20 ago (+1/-0)

Crockpots are for people who like mush that's somehow dry are you from the 1950's?

[ - ] Tallest_Skil 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 15:13:48 ago (+0/-0)

I can’t help but think you’re doing it wrong. My chili, pork ribs, and lemon chicken beg to differ.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 3 monthsFeb 27, 2025 00:25:14 ago (+0/-0)

Gawd I hate agreeing with ya

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 3 monthsFeb 27, 2025 00:24:48 ago (+0/-0)

It is indeed old but I haven’t been impressed by new models.
We cook low and slow with liquid, yet the meat comes out dry and flavourless.
Crockpots are retarded

[ - ] BushChuck5002 5 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 20:19:13 ago (+8/-3)

If you have time to watch television, you have time to cook.

[ - ] Sector2 4 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 20:37:44 ago (+4/-0)

"Just make your own" is absolutely the best solution, especially when the wife works. If not, a greater share of her earnings will go towards buying more expensive and less healthy food.

[ - ] __47__ [op] 3 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 20:27:35 ago (+3/-0)

With all due respect are you feeding your family this garbage? Hell you can make a pound of spaghetti with sauce for some huge portions in no time.

I'm not saying we all need to be up at the crack of dawn with the iron skillets out but there are much better substitutes.

Her Ramen for example. May be a little expensive up front for ingredients but it'll be cheaper in the long run. Hell I still have spaghetti noodles and rice from before Biden that's still fine.

It can be boring of course.

[ - ] Gowithit 4 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 20:36:48 ago (+5/-1)

adding people don't think long term. One night of eating out is like 40-50 bucks. thats an appliance. it may not be the top of the line appliance but it gets the job done. meat slicer is 50 meat grinder is 50. makes it less "boring" when you have tools.

[ - ] __47__ [op] 2 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 20:41:14 ago (+2/-0)

Exactly. Just like beef from my local market is overcharged because of the packaging. I go directly to the butcher they wrap up what I order then it's my problem to preserve it.

Hell $40 may get you two cast iron skillets and while they are an interesting learning curve they will last you forever.

[ - ] NaturalSelectionistWorker 3 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 20:38:59 ago (+3/-0)

I hardly ever buy junk food or fast food, no. However, spaghetti made with seed oils and glyphosate wheat with cheap tomato sauce that has high fructose corn syrup in it isn't much different from junk food, even if it is more cost effective.

[ - ] __47__ [op] 3 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 20:50:52 ago (+3/-0)

I know what you're saying. However would you prefer making your pasta in the microwave in a plastic container with some spices and reheated in said plastic container over a stainless steel pot with purified water with mid grade pasta like Barilla and a glass jar or sauce? What you're proposing is a lose/lose scenario so you have to pick the better option. I'd have the latter over the former any day.

You can't avoid this chemicals even if ya make the noodles from scratch like my mom used to. I remember helping her make them.

[ - ] NaturalSelectionistWorker 2 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 21:57:08 ago (+2/-0)

I get what you're saying, and I do cook for myself (and grow some of my own veggies), but it doesn't solve the systemic/jewish source of the problem. If I had kids I'd probably have to buy cheaper, lower quality food with shittier ingredients or find a way to afford a homestead and grow more of my own (which takes time and therefore opportunity cost/money). People switched to shittier food largely for economic reasons with a little psychological manipulation thrown in.

[ - ] Gowithit 1 point 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 20:53:51 ago (+2/-1)

You can't avoid this chemicals

you can but its going to cost you.

[ - ] __47__ [op] 3 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 21:04:19 ago (+3/-0)

I'm only speaking on spaghetti which is hard to avoid certain things. Noodles are usually pretty benign. It's the sauce.

[ - ] x0x7 3 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 00:33:28 ago (+3/-0)

The modern family cooks what I would call restaurant style plates. It isn't time efficient. From the 40s to the 90s every home cook cooked casseroles. If you are selective about which ones you make you can absolutely cook for a family without spending your day on it.

People don't think in terms of efficiency any more. Max calories per effort was something people wanted. Now that calories are evil no one would think that way. But when you produce a dish with more calories than people need, you have leftovers. That's less cooking for later.

[ - ] Gowithit -1 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 08:05:07 ago (+0/-1)

Salad ,steak, garlic bread. Its essentially a hamburger. breaking down "meals" to its base saves time and makes prep extremely easy. Casseroles take more effort and cost more time than what I just listed.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 09:50:51 ago (+0/-0)

What bills?
The bills created by the wife working?
She can just homeschool and cook at home and save all the money on the commute and clothes too

[ - ] con77 4 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 21:09:13 ago (+4/-0)

Fat wings yum!

[ - ] WNwoman 4 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 20:47:23 ago (+4/-0)

It’s IQ, people. Low IQ people don’t like to plan ahead and aren’t capable of delayed gratification. Think ahead and meal prep on your day off or wake up 5 min earlier to throw something in the crockpot? Nah, I wanna browse tik Tok.

[ - ] BushChuck5002 4 points 3 monthsFeb 25, 2025 20:17:20 ago (+5/-1)

I spend $300/wk on food for 4 humans, and two dogs. The dogs eat "people food", usually roast pork, veggies, and rice.

[ - ] Anus_Expander 2 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 06:50:02 ago (+2/-0)

They are called 'bingo wings'

[ - ] con77 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 07:57:33 ago (+0/-0)

That's hot 🔥

[ - ] Ragnar 1 point 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 09:45:16 ago (+1/-0)

You talk about ice cream like it’s bad.
Homemade ice cream, and a select few store bought ones, is the best thing you can have.
I know faggots here sucking keto “guru” cocks won’t believe me. So look up ice cream paradox yourself

[ - ] BitterVeteran 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 11:49:28 ago (+0/-0)

The "store brand" does not fucking taste the same, nor better/as good as the 'real product all of the time. AND it still supports buying a product at an inflated cost.

Also... what the fuck is this 'seeing ads on youtube' thing? Is it only for retards?

[ - ] hylo 0 points 3 monthsFeb 26, 2025 09:07:33 ago (+0/-0)

YouTube is unusable without adblock
