eh. its just on the opposite side of the earth from the sun so its getting some light but not as much full light as it would normally, its mostly in the shadow of the earth but not at the right spot to be in full eclipse.

I tried to get the eclipse, which was amazing, but my pics looked like a regular moon no matter what setting. I failed.

Wasn't there something about that phone using AI to detect you are taking a picture of a the moon and then using internet picture to create a fake moon picture?

That was a marketing slam discrediting Samsung smashing the phone cameras with 200mp and 100% zoom.

cool, now an experiment for you right... move the phone, with the 'fake ai generator' away from what youre pointing it at.

do you still see the moon? did it suddenly change shape or colour? or does it look pretty much the same on the screen as what you see without the phone?

You know it tested this.

I set up a spotlight at a similar angle as the moon one night and took some pics, it didn't impose the moon.

So I am going to say no.

Get a cheap tri-pod to lean on.
The camera will only focus at high magnification if dead still.
Every flinch affects final focus lock.
I backed off 4% off the 100% zoom for moon shots or the chic across the lake out on her deck😏

My phone folds in half for the base. I used the bed cover as the stand and angled the camera lens towards the moon. Accessed the camera functions via my flip 5 and zoomed in so I wasn't shaking the lens.

Oh I didn't pay full price. I traded in my fold 5 and got the 6 for 500. Traded my flip before that to get the fold 5 for 600.

Samsung so long as you keep trading in it's just a high cost at first.

Catbox for ya, mine records up to 8k and 30fps. Has the 60x zoom as well. It also folds in fucking half! Can integrate with damn near any device, and does with other Samsung devices completely after you set it all up to do so.
