I've been thinking about buying Tesla stock

What do you guys think? The Secretary of Commerce says it will never be this low again.

It's not just cars under the Tesla umbrella.

I'm considering a long term investment of thousands of dollars.

I'm playing the long game.

Do a price to earnings ratio analysis of Tesla and that will tell you what the target price is.

Right now Tesla cars are half price.
The reason they're half price is because every time a Tesla is sold, the taxpayers pay for half of it in the form of subsidies.

The government is reviewing wasteful spending, and those subsidies should be ended.

But apparently, Tesla has some mole high up in the government making sure that billions in taxpayer money will continue to subsidise their cars, no matter how wasteful and damaging to the economy they are.

Also, Teslas aren't selling.
But to counteract this, Tesla dealerships are burning their unsold cars so they can collect the insurance and count them as sales. Because they were "sold" to the insurance companies.

In the end, Tesla makes shit vehicles. And if established car makers are incentivised to make electric cars, Tesla will be downsized to patent trolls. (Maybe getting its factories and name absorbed into a large car manufacturer.)

But.... Tesla stock in a year (or less) will very likely jump back to where it was a month ago.
Buying now, its likely you'll double your money in 6-12 months. Just don't hold onto it longer than that though.
