Last time I had someone service my vehicle they didn't screw in the oil drain bolt and it popped out on the freeway.
That was over a decade ago. Now when I do oil, I run seafoam, clean my air filter, clean my MAF, and lift it up on one side so that even more oil pours out than if it was flat.
No, they came out and replaced the drain bolt in a parking lot and added oil. Then we went back. Then they denied they did anything wrong and claimed I did it myself. I tried to contact Meinkeke corporate but they deleted my order number from the system. I gave up at that point, being a dumb 20 year old. If this had happened in current times they would have had a 10k small claims suit.
When we are young we have a tendency to believe we can overcome any obstacle and be just fine. After a few years of experience we figure out that sometimes we need to take a stand for ourselves.
In my yufe bought a new muffler from Midas. Less than two years later the car slowly started running like crap until the tailpipe broke in two parts, then it ran like slick snot again. It was under warantee but I was some broke kid in another state. The local hillbilly Midas shop charged me $45 for a 'custom pipe' to attach the new one.
I remember an investigative sting op against Firestone back in the 1980s. They used women and ignorant customers as bait. I forget the numbers but something like 80% of all service orders included overcharging or replacement of un-needed parts.
But that was organized corporate fraud. Not niggers.
They do that on some cars but they are mostly there to make removing a stuck rotor possible. You impact a bolt in and it presses on the hub. The assembly line often uses a nut called a Tinnerman nut but anyways. Buddy in the video appears to be using a Mac 20V impact with Amazon sourced #3 philips. Overall I rate his setup as Nigger tier. Get a Milwaukee as MAC/DeWalt will never be the GOAT. He also doesn't show his skin, nigger confirmed.
The point of the screw is to hold the rotor while you install the caliper housing with the pads. Makes life easier. Also it keeps debris from falling in between the rotor and hub face when installing everything else.

Servicing your own brakes, oil changes, filter changes, and tire rotation(s) should be a required skill set. Shit like this wouldn't even be an issue.
