Every story about Ukraine seems manufactured. It's Wag the Dog + Smartphones. The day is quickly approaching, if it is not already here, when you cannot trust video. Just as you wouldn't trust an audio recording that might've been made by AI -- or photographic evidence. The gold standards of truth in the previous century is no longer. Truth will again have be based on first person accounts and a chain of trust. And/or we just enter a post-truth world.

It's unfortunately not surprising. There are still Americans who vote and pay 'income taxes', so there's no belief too far fetched to be installed in most of them.
