Every story about Ukraine seems manufactured. It's Wag the Dog + Smartphones. The day is quickly approaching, if it is not already here, when you cannot trust video. Just as you wouldn't trust an audio recording that might've been made by AI -- or photographic evidence. The gold standards of truth in the previous century is no longer. Truth will again have be based on first person accounts and a chain of trust. And/or we just enter a post-truth world.

Yes, as long as there have been photographs, people have been faking them, but I think people believed them anyways.
