So I thought about stopping in the middle of a local bridge and jumping off as I crossed it the other day. Its about 100ft high give or take. Later that evening my wife came home from work and showed me a news story on her phone. A guy jumped off that very bridge into the jagged rocks below sometime after I crossed it. My wife asked why someone would do that and I just said maybe the pain was just too much for him to bear any longer. I'm not really suicidal or anything. The thought just crossed my mind. I could end it all with a little leap. Well he did. That's where his pain ended. Maybe it was me and I skipped over to this timeline? Groundhog Day?
I was down in Florida for a family reunion. My brother woke me up before the second plane hit and I watched that thing come out side of the screen. That was the visual today that made me remember. I remember that exact Frozen second of that thing appearing.
Then Air Force One took off right next to us. It was really weird. Then we spent the day in an air airport and there's a lot of machine guns around. Then somebody was buying a moving truck so we rode home in the pitch black back of it. I got home and all the puppies were dead. They had gotten sick. They were all over the place. a really really weird time
I moved to New York City a year and a half later and it was still a pit. The cross was still standing and everything. Chuck what's his name wrote a book claiming that the Kid A album matched the events of 9/11. So I started listening to that album as if it represented that day. Either way all I know is I stayed messed up until at least 2008. I remember still being messed up about it during that year.
