What are the odds this nigger ends up in student debt?

...cuz all you have to do to be a titan is invest in one and have a better handle on the business cycle than "the market." This isn't investment advice. What I'm saying is broadly you don't need to be insider trading any one business when you can insider trade the whole market. All the money ending up in the hands of the people who push the market is a feature.

To have no dealership and the only people that can work on the thing are the people that built it seems like a racket and a situation in which you the consoomer have no advocate whatsoever.

What does it actually mean, in terms of actual value transfer, for the US government to forgive student debt? Since 2010, loans have been issued directly by the US government. The entity (currently, since Mar. 2020 ) not getting paid is the US government.
Other kinds of loans exist, and payment has not stopped on them. I have not considered how that debt could be forgiven. The payments for the direct loans, though, are effectively extra taxes. The determination of who owes what is made on a different basis than, say, income tax, but the payments are going into the same pot. So it seems like "forgiveness" is just a shift in tax burden. It lessens the tax burden on those who owed (potentially leaving their burden negative, if their student loan payment would have been greater than their tax bill) and increases it on those who didn't. The whole thing is complicated, though, by the fact that the entire government runs a deficit, and it's unknown whether they will increase other taxes to make up for lack of loan payments.

So that's my take. What do goats think?
