GoFundMe is a for-profit company. It charges a 2.9 percent payment-processing fee on each donation, along with 30 cents for every donation. That means if a campaign raised $1,000 through 10 donations of $100 each, GoFundMe would collect about $32.

The typical GoFundMe campaign is someone coal burner asking for gibs for goblins nappies or a cranker asking for crack.

They also had an Official George Floyd Memorial Fund.

Fuck out of here trying to guilt-trip me into thinking that gofundme campaigns arent debasment, pathetic and disgusting.

Asking strangers for a pity parter is ridiculous.
That's what life insurance and other safety nets are in place for due to workplace negligence resulting in injury or death.
