Lol reminds me of my dad growing up “oh I’m supposed to pretend biology and evolutionary traits just stop with humans” when he’d call blacks a different kind of bipedal species to my friends.

Option 1 -
If there's no race... then there's no racism.

Option 2 -
Denying race is denying evolution.
We have different skin color and races because we evolved in different conditions.

I had a conversation like that about race years ago. This is what I said -

When I was in school we had two 40 minute classes, and then recess.
The reason classes were 40 minutes was because kids lose focus after a while, and switching classes helps to keep their attention and to learn.
Then came recess where kids got sunshine and exercise. Burning off energy to help them focus in class.

Class and recess lengths have been changed and fine tuned over decades. But... they are what works best for Whites who evolved in a Northern climate.
One example is that darker skin would need longer recesses and more sunshine to get the same results.

Claiming we're all the same ignores evolution, and perpetuates systemic racism.

They tried to argue. But I just kept saying that I believe in evolution, and that their refusal to accept evolution is perpetuating systemic racism, and they're the reason why colored people struggle in school, and then for the rest of their lives.

- The virtuous hate hearing that by being virtuous, they are the ones causing the problems.
Their brain shorts out, and they can't figure out which side they're supposed to be on.

You should have said "race" describes minor differences between a classification (haplotype) of a group of people. Celtic, Anglo, Nordic and Slavic are some "races" among White people of European descent.

Then let them know asians and niggers are a different species. Homo-inscetus and homo erectus sounds about right.

I say roll with it. You only get to make a small impression and its more important to plant a seed. If they believe animals have races focus on how pit bulls behave differently than golden retrievers. They will wake up to the idea that people have races eventually, but you've primed them to see that that intrinsically might result in differences in behavior.
