87.6 grams, 2.5 x 2 inches. Ducks molt over the winter and lay fewer eggs. Not enough to make it to my closest farmers market, but they're back now.
This was the largest in the dozen large eggs, which go for $15. It's only $12 for the smaller duck eggs. Anyway, pretty tasty. Give them a try if you can get them.

Ducks are funnier than chickens though, they have personality that chickens don't

The internet answer, since I have no ducks of my own. Seems to be the general consensus though. I think that's partly why there aren't large scale duck operations like there are with chickens.

Quail might be manageable in my small space, but I'm thinking of dividing the wasabi and putting that down there - under the rack for the pepper pots. I give it sun, but they say it does well in full shade.

For those of you who like a fried egg on a burger or a tenderloin, use a duck egg.
