First, do you guys keep this one in a special folder labeled 'Post Once Per Week'?

Second, I've been to Reddit a handful of times in the past five years, but any time that I've tried to even respond in the more contentious threads, it's a fucking hassle. You need to have an account for such and such an amount time. You have to be a member to the sub for such and such a period of time. Comments auto-modded. Or some such bullshit. How much time are people investing in being members of these communities just to get banned?

Recovering reddit fag here.

Oddly enough general interaction with them gets the requirements met fairly quickly. So many people on reddit that a single comment or submission can get you 10s if not 100s of positive karma.

Never thought about it till now, but the restrictions are placed to stop people will negative intent really, you assume it a task, but general interaction like you do here even is all it takes.

The auto mod feature is something I don't like. Say something in a specific sub a group don't like. Banned from 300 others you never heard about?

God bless your recovery, haha.

Lol, reddit has the same % of good people as this place does honestly.

Difference being that mods here are pretty much hands off, save the select few.

I like how you can only have so many subs and that is it. However as demonstrated over and over that many here have alts to maintain control of specific topics that promote ineptitude.

Hardly see traction in subs like fatherhood, ones about fixing shit, basic man stuff.

This place has genuine people on it just making sure they ain't alone in their views of the world, then you have those armchair patriotic types.

Few days ago someone was talking about the border, I suggested they go there and patrol.

You can do so with permission from the land owner so that it isn't trespassing, but 2 times a year I go, and we track them, plot their course, and notify border patrol to apprehend them.

Granted it is all catch and release, but the nation gets records of them as they all get finger printed and processed.

Was told I will get arrested and tracked, blah blah. It is your duty as an American to secure your nation, and these people assume you can't.

Then you suggest something like that, oh you a fed, a glownigger and so on.

That's a fair diagnosis, I think. You identify an important problematic for all of this: the whole thing is just so big that the actions of one or even a few represent a drop in the bucket, and most well-meaning people can't bring themselves to disrupt their lives for the moral satisfaction of knowing they did what was right. The discrepancy between cause and effect is prohibitive. People want the movement to come to them. They want the wave but can't tell themselves a coherent story about how to make it. I think some critics are right -- referring to members of this forum -- when they say that nothing changes until it has to. Things will have to get so bad that they force people, as a matter of sheer circumstance and existential requirement, to do the necessary things. It makes it very easy to get black-pilled and individualistic.

Re: the online situation, I don't think there's a perfect venue. One thing we're contending with is the worse side of human being itself, so whatever we do has to account for that at the same time as having its eye on improving a failing civilization. We'll continue to use this site to maintain a mental grip, whatever we can get. But, it's a bit like the fall of Rome. Whatever is coming is coming. We'll continue shouting about it.

[ - ] Anotherone 1 point 10 monthsJun 25, 2024 13:35:01 ago (+1/-0)

There is a way to fix the online situation. Make people verify their identity so that there will be accountability. Truly allow the userbase to be the moderation in that someone must vouch for others and it can be seen who did it.

That is why places like reddit, or this place even will and always fail. Make the community police itself without a higher authority being the be all and end all, as that makes favoritism.

Reading the old posts from the admin of voat you will see puttitout say we often when referring to admin of the site. Who the fuck was we?

Transparency is also needed, otherwise trust is lost.

People here have no real consequences for their actions is why they act so disruptive and malignant. Don't know about you, but I want to make a better future for white children.

Bitching about how jews do this or that is of zero actions. Everyone here knows, it is why we are here is because we know.

I belive we can all teach one another somethings, and the moment we do someone will attempt to disrupt it here. One hundred percent they will.

You go into the chat area of this site and you can watch it happen in real time where they will post links to threads on this site and attempt to use whatever means they can to label the one that made the submission.

Often times I think it is because they are just miserable and can't allow anything of substance or meaning to persist unless they are a part of it, or they control it.

Aye. So, what you're actually after is making the social aspect of the site more strongly parallel our social lives in the real world. I wonder how much this would be aided if you could ensure that users only had one account, ever. This would parallel having one life and one reputation in any given social community. If it's lost, you're lost. Of course, that isn't a complete solution. That avatar has to be connected to some kind of real wellbeing, and that's the difficult part. Internet points don't mean anything, and nobody would participate if online reputation and wellbeing was tied to concrete assets in the real world. In fact, people are fighting tooth and nail to avoid this, ala social credit scores. I have no idea how to solve this problem.

[ - ] Anotherone 1 point 10 monthsJun 25, 2024 14:01:29 ago (+1/-0)

No, I don't mean where it can translate into real world. I am saying via the specific community, so like this site where it was invite only. So everyone gets booted off and system sends out invites to join with people they know, and then they would send people they know an invite code.

Each person has a unique code where they person who invited them shows on their account saying as such.

That way in one way or another we can track the line of dissenting or bullshit even, and rectify it as the userbase so everyone at some point will have skin in the game.

Plus I think it would be great to see a daily username creation database that we can access to see who is making new accounts and the only way to see the site is to male an account.

If inactive for say 60 days any subs they had are put up for takeover by others who at least participated before that 60 days started?

Allow the userbase to vote as well, and show how they voted to boot.

Allow actual discussion like what we are doing right now. Allow people a vote to banish users if some become a problem too.

I bet the userbase will become distilled fairly quickly and lots of people will finally start talking to each other. Serious shit can transpire too since no one needs to be guarded with so much paranoia.

Like I said you start to suggest community or anything similar, within 48hrs someone will make up some shit about you and sow the seeds of doubt so that it is not encouraged.

I have no idea how to implement this, and I don't have the time to dedicate the skills it would take to learn.

I wouldn't mind being a part of it, could even make subs to assist with growth and provide much content. Actual content that people will engage with.

Here it is wasted time between the 75 submissions an hour by specific users to dilloute engagement and promote ineptitude.

Who cares, that's a REAL pretty girl!

[ - ] CHIRO 0 points 10 monthsJun 25, 2024 09:43:45 ago (+0/-0)

Haha. Yeah, I did my appreciating of the content one of the other thousand times it has been posted. It just occurred to me this time around how hard it is getting a post like that past one of their over-sensitive, unemployed mods.

[ - ] CoronaHoax 1 point 10 monthsJun 25, 2024 12:14:31 ago (+1/-0)

I got banned from r/gym for saying people over 35 should consider workouts that work the same muscle but with less joint stress if their joints are saying they're hurting.

And I've gotten banned from an auto immune disease sub that has no cure for saying I've got first hand knowledge / experience that sunburns provide a near full week of full relief.

The place is pure. fucking. evil.

[ - ] CHIRO 0 points 10 monthsJun 25, 2024 12:30:29 ago (+0/-0)

I've had similar experiences; banned for saying what I considered totally uncontroversial, commonsensical stuff. It all looks good if you only consider the rules and the formalities. In practice, it's worse than 'middle school politics'.

[ - ] CoronaHoax 1 point 10 monthsJun 25, 2024 15:25:51 ago (+1/-0)

They had nothing to gain but causing people to suffer and get hurt. Everything I said was just in passing. The post / sub showed up and I gave a comment. Completely neutral helpful insider information take it or leave it. Completely banned from the whole sub.

[ - ] Dingo 0 points 10 monthsJun 25, 2024 21:51:55 ago (+0/-0)

This just affirms the non-trannies into supporting trannies. It'd be better if Anon posted pictures actual trannies but on the uglier spectrum. If all they ever saw was some hideous science experiment after ghoulish phote, then it would cause trannies and trannie supporters to "doubt" the "science" that trannies are anything but a shared delusion.

[ - ] con77 0 points 10 monthsJun 25, 2024 12:52:19 ago (+0/-0)

brilliant!

[ - ] CoronaHoax 0 points 10 monthsJun 25, 2024 12:12:15 ago (+0/-0)

What's ironic is they do the opposite here. Post a pic here of an actual girl then say "I would never fuck / date that trans".

[ - ] Prairie 0 points 10 monthsJun 25, 2024 11:35:02 ago (+0/-0)

Plot twist, she's on testosterone treatment to become a man.
