STD are way worse than you think. Most of STD cannot be cured completely and they return after being treated. You will need to cure them for the rest of your life, and your lifespan will be shorter. The most feared STD is HIV/AIDS, but there are many more dangerous and deadly STD, like for example Chlamydia, Herpes, ot HPV / Papilloma. HPV can't be diagnosed in men, so you will infect your partner. HPV cannot be cured and causes cancer.

Do not, under any circumstances, have sex with promiscuous partners.

Do not, under any circumstances, share drinks or food with other people.

Always do both STD tests before even kissing with non virgin partner.

In the case of HPV last I knew about 80% of people have it. Women who have it need to be really careful.

there are hpv vaccines that claim 100% efficacy.

All HPV vaccines have been found to have high efficacy (close to 100%) for prevention of HPV vaccine type-related persistent infection

The body can clear HPV, the problem is when it doesn't and it's one of the cancerous strains. Best solution is don't fuck sluts, and be healthy. If your immune system is suppressed from stress, bad diet, poor sleep, and little exercise; if you get exposed to cancerous HPV it's just going to linger in your body until your dick rots off and sends tumors throughout you until you die.

There are a huge number of hpv variants out there.

The hpv vaccines only "try to" protect against the 3 big ones that cause the most cervical cancers.

Warts are a strain of hpv, for example.

The other problem with STDs is that alot of them promote cancer and maybe some other shit like alzheimers. Its not just HPV. Lymphomas, pancreatic cancer, breast cancer, live cancer, and others can sometimes be caused by viruses and bacteria, supposedly through genetic damage.

Had a female relative coerced into taking the HPV vaccine. She wasn't a risk candidate given her and her husband's strong moral opinions on monogamy. But the shit Dr. wanted to make an extra buck so he pushed her hard, promised no side-effects, etc.

After being very healthy her entire life, she developed a debilitating autoimmune disorder 2 weeks later and has bounced in/out of disability for the 15+ years. It's been heartbreaking to watch.

Bottom line: casual sex isn't risk free. And, neither are vaccines. Best bet might be to just stay away from both.
