This is the wrong way to think about it.

Whether or not someone engages in conspicuous consumption or ostentation is very much a function of personality and certain ethnic groups tend to be more ostentatious than others.

The Saudi royal family are incredibly wealty— and also very ostentatious. Niggers are almost always very showy if they have any money. Southern and also Eastern Europeans also tend to be fairly showy. Chinese are showier than Japanese.

Aesthetics is part of personality and very linked to race.

I used to play this game on long walks where I tried to guess the ethnicity of a family from the exterior of their house. I guess I still do it sometimes.

“Old money” in the US tended to be Anglosaxon or germanic for along time. They tended to be more conservative with their presentation. I dont know thats really true today. I see some very tacky rich people.

Kikes tend to be very flashy about some things but not others. I think in certain areas they do not wish to advertize their wealth. But jewish women tend to dress very tacky with big jewelry and makeup, unless they are in one of those orthodox sects.

I agree with most of this. The old guard wealthy used to be dressed to the nines, no matter what they were doing, If they were at a ball, they wore the proper upscale clothes for that, if'n they were hunting, they wore that that was fitting to the sport of hunting. The wealthy used to have a sense of style and elegance. The Kardashians, et. al. ruined that!
