Pomf.lain links never ever work for me, never. Anyone else have this problem?

I see boekanier uploads a lot of these links and they usually get a lot of upvotes, wouldn't mind being able to see these myself too.

Boomerkanier has absolutely shit content, you're not missing anything. Browse faceberg if you really want to see it, that's where it all comes from.

If you go to the catbox.moe site, then paste in any pomf or pomf2 link then click "GO" it will bring the file to the catbox site and give you a new link.

it usually works when upgoat embeds them but if i click on the link it's 50/50

catbox is more reliable

Malicious site. Your browser is trying to protect you, as obviously you are too stupid to avoid such sites your self.

Then why is every other post linked to there if it is that bad?

Not to bright, are ya.

Thanks to whoever figured it out.
It's been hit or miss (mostly miss) for me.

Whether the 2 is included or excluded, it never opens for me within Voat. I need to separately open any pomf links.

I noticed that it drops at the TCP level when it tries to open from Voat. And I know that when I used to use pomf as a sub-host on img.gvid it worked fine. That means they are looking at the referer header, see voat, and straight up terminate the connection. It's certainly a response to the referer header rather than the sec-fetch-dest header.

Same here. At least they open outside now when I remove the 2.

He's switched from pomf2 links to pomf without the '2'. Links with the '2' don't work for me either, but without the 2 they work as intended.

Hopefully they work for you too. Here's one of his new links.

If you see a link with a '2' in it, try deleting the '2' from the address and reload. If that doesn't work and you really want to see it, drop the address here https://img.gvid.tv/ and upload. yes, upon your recommendation I removed the '2'. It can be that I forget to do it, but as a principle I'll continue to remove that bad 2. Before pomf... I used catbox, but that regularly causes problems, so away with it

[ - ] kammmmak 3 points 7 monthsNov 11, 2024 08:08:40 ago (+3/-0)

Catbox is ten times better than the old days.

[ - ] Black Crimes Matter 2 points 7 monthsNov 11, 2024 10:58:22 ago (+2/-0)

Thanks for the advice. My antivirus software is blocking links with a '2' in them.

[ - ] GMarksTheSpot94 [op] 1 point 7 monthsNov 11, 2024 14:04:39 ago (+1/-0)

It worked, fair play, thanks.

pomf2.lain.la could be blocked by your adblocker

[ - ] Sector2 3 points 7 monthsNov 11, 2024 04:47:39 ago (+3/-0)

It's blocked upstream somewhere. Deleting the '2' worked for me and several others.

[ - ] x0x7 1 point 7 monthsNov 11, 2024 07:00:27 ago (+1/-0)

It's a DNS thing. Some of our browsers are complaining the pomf2 has its DNS-SEC set very high but then doesn't do all the cryptographic things just right to meet the DNS-SEC specification. I think it may also have to do with which browsers recognize which domains as certificate authorities.

I'm not an expert on DNS-SEC but that's what the browser is complaining about.

sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, it's incompetence

I have problems too. Not always, but very often.
