The crows eat the native birds eggs and young. They're worse than cats.

We have had problems here going back a long time .. first it was the invasive species spotted turtledoves, called coo-coo birds for the racket they made all day .. they got sent on their way by butcher birds a highly aggressive native species, crows moved in after that and their racket went on all day .. then believe it or not noisy miner - not minah - birds, which are another violent native species honey eaters indeed, attacked the crows and sent them on their way.

Problem was their incessant "chirping" went on thru the daylight hrs .. ok lately a very large tawny owl has been perched overnight on the power lines opposite the trees where the miners live .. it seems he cleaned quite a few of them out, because since he got here there doesn't seem to be so many of them while the survivors have been nowhere near so noisy.

The other species they drove away, bearing in mind there were about four of them attacking an eagle recently, including the rainforest birds that come down from New Guinea - we are in Brisbane, Australia - are making a comeback .. in your case hold yr fire with the pellet gun and give things time to work out, you should arrive at a compromise as the balance of nature restores itself :) cheers. I use a Thaipan Veteran in .25 cal for invasives on the property.

bb guns are fine and all but look into a real air rifle. just a little 22 caliber. they are quiet and can take down bigger things later if need be. I killed an armadillo that was fucking around with my chickens with mine, took 3 shots but hey those fuckers are ARMORED.

i really just meant to scare it off but once i realized it had penetrated deep and he wasnt gonna live i just finished him. plus its WAY cooler to turn them into a poof of feathers than just seeing them fall over flapping.

I had the same problem but pigeons moved in. A pellet gun worked good, as long as it was a clean kill.

I think Canada Geese are also niggers of the bird world. They just lay around and shit the place up

Crows and ravens are far smarter than any nigger.

Careful going to war with the crows, they have an incredible memory and are said to hold a grudge.

If shit suddenly goes missing it’s likely the nigger birds……, also they hate when you call them niggers just like real niggers!

Fun Fact: the bluebird is of the same avian family as the raven and crow.

Yea I normally wouldn't shoot birds but those blackbirds are fucking niggers. Even blue jays

I try and keep a good relationship with crows but had to set a few of them straight over the years.

poison the bird seed. control when its available. crows talk, theyll avoid the seed after a few die.

then return to regular seed.

Shoot sniper the others from an open window, so they dont see you.
