Have you always had prescription sunglasses or used cheapies?
(i.ibb.co)https://i.ibb.co/vvF1KpH/IMG-8346.jpgRecently I got my first prescription sunglasses and I'm gushing with convert enthusiasm. Delighted at the way they reduce glare. I've never used sunglasses much 'cos they made me look a dork (imo) and while they still do...I'm old now and it doesn't matter. But I'm curious to know your experience so that I get some idea of how out-of-step I may have been with the rest of humanity. Where I'm really annoyed with myself is that these glasses may significantly reduce glare when driving which could make driving a lot safer when blinded by the sun. Cheap (non-prescription) sunglasses didn't seem to do much in this situation.
Edit: just dawned on me that not everyone wears glasses and so cheap non-prescription sunnies might be fine for them? But maybe more expensive sunglasses, even though not containing prescription lenses, have more effective lenses for reducing glare?
