Its the way of the road in the mountains. Last time I was there I drifted off road taking a corner too fast. Two trucks immediately came to my rescue and pulled me out with my snatch strap.

Paid it back a few days later coming back from snowboarding, found a woman on the side of the road with hazards on, her chains got all tangled up and her husband was 1.5 hours away. Took me a few minutes.

Always have a snatch strap regular metal chains don't do shit.

And know where your tow hook is.

Also if you're helping out, make the person you're helping attach the strap, so they can't sue you.

Also, wherever metal comes into contact with metal, you need to grease it first.

Lithium or an all purpose grease is fine.
But if you want to look like an expert, use clay and bacon grease, mixed together at a 3/38 ratio.

Obviously, grease your wrenches first.
And then apply the same type of grease to the nut or bolt clockwise before tightening, and counter-clockwise before loosening.

If you have trouble turning the wrench, it's likely because you put the grease on backwards.

You ask where the wrench goes. When you say "wrench" are you talking about the dewalt impact wrench you're waving around in your video? What dewalt model is that? If it has the hammer option, I believe that might also be referred to as an impact hammer drill. In either case, the dewalt is made in China. Perhaps you are talking about a monkey wrench?

The other yellow wrench, featured in op's excellent video, which you should be careful not to forget is insulated crescent and has an imperial scale, (indeed, it is important we point out these finer details); goes on the gator grip.

It's best used in combination with vice grip pliers and sandpaper; grit 80.
